Today I started out my day by working on a short video about mattress recycling, one of the issues we're organizing around at Clean Water Action. Check out these photos I took in a mattress recycling facility in CT a couple weeks ago. I love 'how stuff is made' stories... so here's some of the behind-the-scenes for ya. Video forthcoming...

Did I mention this facility employs recently incarcerated folks, who have a hard time finding employment? Green jobs + social justice = the best.
Everything can be beautiful.
Does that include all kinds of mattresses, like memory foam or Ikea ones without springs? And how widely can this magical recycling be found?
